My Mediumistic Journey

ree

I decided to share this because many of my clients ask if I have always been mediumistic.

As a child growing up in Japan, I was very sensitive and often had strong hunches about people and situations. I could sense things before they happened, though I didn’t understand why. Still, unlike many psychics or mediums, I didn’t see or hear spirits. I was just a normal kid, nothing unusual, nothing extraordinary. I often hear stories of those who began seeing and hearing things at a very young age, but that simply wasn’t my experience.

Everything changed, however, during one of the most difficult times of my life, a period when I felt completely hopeless. My world had fallen apart, and to make matters worse, I began hearing voices in my head. I truly thought I was losing my mind.

To my surprise, when I started listening to those voices, they guided me to find things I had misplaced. I was amazed. Soon after, I joined a few healing classes, one of which led me to my now best friend, an attorney. We used to meditate together once a week, and she became the very first person I ever gave a reading to. I still remember that day vividly. As the New Year’s bell rang, her father-in-law’s presence appeared beside her. He told me his name, how he had passed, and details about her family that I could never have known. We were both shocked and deeply moved.

From that moment on, word of mouth spread quickly. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of serving clients from all walks of life and from around the world—people of diverse faiths, professions, and backgrounds: Catholics, Christians, Spiritualists, Buddhists, government and bank officials, attorneys, teachers, professors, counselors, doctors, nurses, parents, and students.

I’ve also had two near-death experiences—one when I was hit and dragged by a car, and another when I was attacked by a dog, leaving scars on my head and throat. In both experiences, I remember leaving my body before impact and feeling no pain at all. These moments confirmed for me that we are spirit inhabiting a physical form—an intelligent, resilient essence that exists beyond the body. These experiences allow me to reassure grieving clients that their loved ones who passed in tragic ways did not suffer. Our spirit knows when to step out before the pain begins.

I take this work seriously and hold it with deep reverence. I have trained, demonstrated, and undergone testing in both England and Scotland, earning two awards and certification in evidential mediumship. Through my own experiences, both the challenges and the profound encounters with Spirit, I’ve come to know that each of us has the capacity to connect with the spiritual realm. With guidance, practice, and trust, anyone can learn to harness these gifts of Spirit to bring healing, clarity, and a deeper sense of purpose to life here on earth.

Warmest regards,

Yoshie
